The representatives at the Coway booth thought their new air purifiers looked iPods. I thought they looked more like a Sony Cybershot, but we both agreed they looked pretty cool. Of course, don’t take our words for it. The Coway air purifiers (model AP-1008DH) were Red Dot certified in March of this year, which should impress those with the most discerning tastes in air purifiers.

Obviously, air purifiers aren’t kitchen products per se, they are general home products. But because they were at K/BIS, and because they looked so un-air purifier like, we figured they were worth mentioning. These air purifiers have multiple filters, and each filter specializes in different areas of air purification, like eliminating allergens or reducing bacteria.

These new conversation-piece air purifiers will be available in the fall.
